Research: nmny

nmny is a comparative genome browser, based on HTML5 and WebGL technology. It is an replacement for GMV from Murasaki Project. nmny is intended to serve in both online and offline, while GMV is designed as an offline standalone browser.

Compatible Web Browsers

nmny works on following browsers, but requires WebGL support. (How to enable WebGL (written in Japanese))

  • Firefox
  • Chrome
  • Safari

Acceptable File Formats

  • .anchors and .anchors.tfidf from Murasaki.
  • GFF3 for annotation

Try nmny

You can try current version at nmny's trial website. You can use your Murasaki outputs and GFF files in your local storage. Well-organized web service is still not available because nmny is in the (very) early stage of development.

License

nmny is provided in Beerware License. The software is provided "as is", like many other open source softwares.
